What is included in the price?
Should you be a candidate for surgery, the facility fee, surgeon’s fee, pathology fee and anesthesiologist’s fee are all included in the bundled price. There are no hidden fees. (See the pricing page for specific procedures which may require additional fees such as implants for certain orthopedic procedures.)
Who do I contact if I have questions?
Please contact the Binz Surgery Center at (713) 600-8919 and let the receptionist know you have a question about the website. We welcome your calls.
How long is the quoted price valid?
Quotes are valid for 60 days.
How will a surgeon be selected for me?
If the patient doesn’t have a preference, an appropriate surgeon will be selected from our qualified staff.
What if I see the physician and he doesn't believe I am a surgical candidate?
Included in our package price is a $200 surgical consultation fee. If you are not a candidate for surgery, you are only responsible for the consultation fee.
May I stay overnight in the facility?
Overnight stays are not usually necessary, but arrangements can be made for an additional charge. One family member may stay overnight with the patient.
What is the rate of infection at this facility?
Wherever you decide to have your surgery, you should inquire about the rate of infection in their facility. Our infection rate for 2017 was 0%. This percentage is astoundingly low compared with an estimated national average of 2.6 % per year.
Who will I pay?
All payments are made to Binz Surgery Center with the exception of the surgical consultation fee. This will be due and collected at the surgeon’s office.
What methods of payment are acceptable?
To keep our prices as low as possible, cashier’s check, cash and credit cards are the preferred methods of payment.
Can payment arrangements be made?
Payment in full is required at the time service is rendered. These deeply-discounted prices are otherwise not available.
